First: don’t look at social media. If you’re watching on catch-up later, everyone will spoil it. I’ve seen people tweet the winner before the show even ends. Monsters.
Second: get your snacks ready before 7:20. There’s nothing worse than missing a tango because you were opening a bag of crisps. The crunch is too loud anyway.
Third: wear something comfy. The judges are judging them, not you. You can watch in your pyjamas. I won’t tell.
What If I Miss the Start? Should I Panic?
No, don’t panic. But do speed-walk to your sofa. The show usually opens with a recap of Saturday’s dances. You can see who was at the top and who almost fell over.
If you miss the first ten minutes, you might miss the musical guest. Sometimes it’s a pop star. Sometimes it’s a guy with a banjo. Roll the dice.
What time is Strictly Come Dancing's results show tonight and who's
The actual elimination happens around 8:10 PM. So you have a little buffer. But not much. Use that time wisely.
