Let’s talk about the most important establishment of all: the pub. Is it opening? You bet your bottom dollar—but the times are flexible, like a yoga instructor made of beer.
Many pubs will open earlier than usual. Why? Because they know you’ve been gardening all morning and you’ve earned that 12 PM pint. It’s a “liquid reward for manual labor” system. It’s beautiful.
However, some might open later. And a few, the very brave ones, will close earlier in the evening. The landlord has a BBQ to attend too, you know. Check their website or call ahead.
Golden rule for pubs: If there’s a beer garden and the sun is out, assume it opens at 11 AM. If it’s raining, assume it opens at noon, but you’ll be sitting inside, which is still a win.
