It’s a fun little game of detective work. You’re not just waiting for a plot twist; you’re waiting for a homecoming. Mick Carter is Walford royalty. He’s the king of the castle, the landlord with the heart of gold and the fists of a boxer.
Don’t Hold Your Breath, But…
Look, I’m not saying it will happen tomorrow. Or even this year. But the signs are there. Danny Dyer has talked about wanting to honor the character’s legacy. That doesn’t sound like a man slamming the door forever—it sounds like a man waiting for the right story.

Until we see that familiar scowl or hear him yell “Geddd outta my pub!” we’re all just guessing. But isn’t that the fun of it? The not-knowing? It’s like buying a lottery ticket—silly, optimistic, and gloriously addictive.
So, is Mick Carter coming back? My gut says yes. My brain says be patient. But my heart? My heart is already standing at the bar, ordering him a pint. Here’s hoping.
