Stefan starts the series as a guilt-ridden vegetarian vamp. He sips animal blood and wears a lot of flannel. He meets Elena, falls in love, and immediately things go sideways.
His brother Damon shows up to cause chaos. And Stefan’s big secret? He used to be a total monster called the Ripper. He’d go on bloody rampages and then feel terrible about it. Classic Stefan.
