As of right now, there’s no glossy teaser trailer or press release from ITV. But the whispers are loud enough that even my mum asked me about it last Sunday. Several British tabloids are reporting that producers are already reaching out to fan-favorite celebrities from past seasons.
Think about it: All Stars makes perfect business sense. The regular series still gets massive ratings, and a nostalgia hit with familiar faces? That’s basically a guaranteed goldmine. Plus, who doesn’t want to see a celebrity try to eat a witchetty grub again, but this time knowing exactly what they’re in for?
Who might we see back in the jungle?
This is where the fun (and the betting odds) start. I’m already dreaming up a fantasy camp. Imagine Gemma Collins returning for round two, but now she’s armed with two years of “self-care” memes and zero patience for creepy crawlies. Iconic.
Then there’s the legends like Harry Redknapp. Would he leave his dog walkers behind for another shot at the crown? Or what about Scarlett Moffatt, who basically owned that jungle in 2016? She’s already said she’d do it again “in a heartbeat.” My money is on her being a dead cert for the camp leader title.
ITV unveils first look at All Stars I'm A Celeb's "harder" new series
And of course, we can’t ignore the villains. Lady Colin Campbell was pure chaos last time. If she returns, expect monologues about “the authenticity of the crocodile teeth” while everyone else is just trying not to get bitten. Bless her.
