If you started counting “one, two, three…” at a perfectly reasonable pace of one number per second, you’d hit one hundred million in… wait for it… three years, two months, and about ten days. Not counting bathroom breaks, meals, or those awkward moments when you zone out. So if you started today, you’d finish sometime in 2027.
That’s longer than most celebrity marriages. Longer than a TikTok trend. Longer than my attention span during a Zoom meeting about scheduling another Zoom meeting. And you’d only get one-tenth of the way through a billion. By the time you finished counting the whole billion, you’d be eligible for Social Security.
