This is where it gets messy. You grab the remote—the one your partner has hidden behind the cushion—and start channel-surfing like a madman. You check Sky Sports News, but they’re talking about a transfer in Italy. You flip to BBC One. Nope, just antiques. Why is there never a banner that says “PARADE STARTS HERE”?
It reminds me of the time I tried to find my car in a multi-storey car park. You just keep going in circles, getting more frustrated, wondering if you’ve actually lost your mind. Meanwhile, your best mate is texting, “It’s on!” but won’t say which channel, because he’s a monster.
The truth is, there’s no single, easy answer. Sometimes it’s on the club’s official website or their YouTube channel. Other times, it’s buried on Sky Sports Arena between a rerun of darts and a fishing show. You have to be a detective. It’s like trying to find a decent parking spot on matchday—requires patience and a little bit of luck.
When the Parade Gets Personal
Let’s be real, the parade itself is a beautiful chaos. You see the players in sunglasses, looking like they’ve just rolled out of bed after a good party. They wave. They smile. Someone inevitably tries to grab the trophy and almost drops it. It’s pure, unfiltered joy, and it’s the same joy you felt when you saw your kid take their first steps—except with more beer and fewer baby wipes.
Arsenal parade: All the details, photos, video
I remember one year, I watched the parade on a tiny laptop screen at work. My boss walked past and saw me staring at a bus full of men in tracksuits. “Is that… therapy?” he asked. “No,” I said, “it’s catharsis.” He just shook his head. He didn’t get it. Not everyone understands the weight of that final home game.
If you can’t find it on live TV, don’t panic. The club’s social media feeds are a goldmine. You’ll get shaky phone footage from some lad named Keith who’s standing on a wall. It’s not HD, but it’s real. That grainy, vertical video is often more authentic than any broadcast. It’s like listening to a bootleg concert tape—imperfect, but it has soul.
