Day one: It’s bright red and puffy. You might think you’ve been branded. Day two: The color shifts to a deeper, angrier purple-red. It might even get a little weepy or crusty if you’ve been scratching (which you will, because it itches like crazy). By day three, you’re looking at a bruise. A yellow-greenish halo forms around the original red mess. You’ll look like you got into a bar fight with a lawnmower.
Compare that to a mosquito bite, which just fades away politely. A Clegg bite throws a week-long party on your skin and doesn’t clean up after itself. Fun times.
