This is my personal favourite, and it’s where I finally found that sketch Dave sent me. The official Saturday Night Live YouTube channel uploads individual sketches almost immediately after the US airing. For free. Yes, you read that right.
You don’t get the whole episode, but you get the best bits: the cold open, the monologue, and the viral sketches. It’s like eating the chocolate chips out of the cookie without bothering with the dough. Not a full meal, but damn satisfying.
Pro tip: search for "SNL full episode" on YouTube, and you’ll often find fan uploads. These are technically against rules, so they vanish quickly. Watch them while they’re hot, like a nap in a British summer—short and rare.
