Before you get your hopes up, know the golden rule: Never buy from scalpers or unofficial third-party sites that aren’t verified. There are too many fake tickets out there, and you don’t want to show up at the theatre with a worthless piece of paper.
Always use the official ticketing partner (like Ticketmaster or the venue’s own system). It’s boring, I know, but it’s safer than trusting a guy named “BroadwayBob” on Craigslist. Also, sign up for the official Hamilton lottery—it’s the least stressful way to get a chance at cheap seats.
And here’s a funny truth: The lottery app makes you feel like you’re in a casino. You open it, you hold your breath, and then you either see “Sorry, not this time” or you scream so loud your neighbors think you’ve won the actual lottery. It’s emotional whiplash, but it’s worth it for that one incredible night.
