Apparently, catfish are most active during dawn and dusk when the water is usually calm and peaceful. It's like they're little catfish yogis, all zen and stuff, waiting for their morning coffee to kick in.
But, if you're a night owl like me, don't worry, you can still catch these whisker-faced friends under the cover of darkness. Just make sure to bring some bacon... just kidding, that's not a thing (or is it?). Seriously though, catfish have a keen sense of smell, so use bait that's super stinky and you'll be golden.
