One myth is that you can always “wait them out” until a wolf gets close enough for a perfect portrait. Wolves aren’t stuck in a photo studio. They may leave quickly if they consider you a disturbance, even if you never raised your voice and never chased them.
Another misconception is that wildlife photography is inherently low-impact because you’re “just watching.” Observation can still disturb animals, particularly when people repeat patterns—returning to the same area, relocating frequently, or blocking movement corridors.
