Oh, you’ve hit the jackpot! Tournament games are a whole different beast. The Big East Tournament or the NCAA Tournament? Those times are set by a committee of people who love chaos. One day it’s 2:30 PM, the next day it’s 9:00 PM. You basically need to keep your entire day flexible. I recommend wearing sweatpants. Always. It’s a vibe.
For the Big Dance (March Madness), the times are announced a few days before. But here’s the pro tip: if UConn is playing in the early round on a Thursday, don’t plan any important meetings. You’re going to be glued to your screen from 12:00 PM onward. Sorry, boss.
The Real Answer (Finally)
Okay, here’s your moment of truth. If you’re reading this on a specific game day and my vague advice is driving you nuts, stop everything and do this one thing. Open your browser, type in “UConn women’s basketball schedule today,” and press enter. The first result from ESPN or the team’s site will show you the time in big, bold letters. That’s your answer. You did it. You’re a hero.
If that time says 7:00 PM ET, congratulations. You have exactly 7 hours to get snacks, charge your phone, and practice your victory dance. If it says 12:00 PM, you need to run—like, right now—to the couch. Don’t walk. Run. The game is already starting, and you don’t want to miss the opening tip that is always perfect.
