Place your trap right where you see the most flies. Usually, that’s near the fruit bowl, the compost bin, or that sad banana you forgot about. They patrol these areas like tiny, buzzing guards.
Leave it out overnight. That’s when they’re most active, searching for a late-night snack. You’ll wake up to a jar full of tiny, still bodies. It’s a grim victory, but a victory nonetheless.
Just remember to discard the trap every day or two. Flies are messy, and the liquid gets stinky. Your kitchen will feel cleaner just by knowing the trap is fresh.
