Go check a rose bush or a milkweed stem. Look for tiny fuzzy clumps.
That fuzz? It’s a woolly aphid with a white wax dot on its back. It looks like a miniature sheep.
Touch it gently. It’s soft. It’s weird. It’s alive. And it’s doing just fine, thanks.
