Mark your pipe with a sharpie. Then measure again. I’m serious—sawing too short is tragedy.
Cut straight. A crooked cut means a crooked joint. Water finds the weak spots. Always.
Use sandpaper to deburr the edges. Little plastic shards are sharp and annoying. Plus, smooth edges seal better.

The Dry Fit Dance
Before any glue, do a dry fit. Push the pieces together without cement.
See if they slide in snugly. If it’s too tight, sand a little. Too loose? That’s a leak waiting to happen.
