What can you do right now to feel less gross?
Install a showerhead filter. They’re cheap, like twenty bucks, and they catch a lot of rust and sediment. You’ll feel like a fancy spa-goer, not a rusty hose.
Also, boil a pot of the yellow water. If it turns clear, it’s just dissolved minerals—safe but annoying. If it stays yellow? That’s more serious.
