Working moms are actually happier and show fewer signs of depression than stay-at-home moms, according to a University of Washington study. The findings showed that women who work outside the home and don’t expect to “do it all” are more prone to happiness, and that employment is beneficial to women’s health. However, the study also found that so-called “Super Moms,” women who work outside the home and who believe they can and should do it all, were at risk for depression.
