The battle over ‘Obamacare’ rages on and, while the ACA’s impact on our access to healthcare has been gradual and won’t be fully realized until 2014, many Americans (and Latinas) have already benefitted from this landmark legislation. Regardless of the political ideologies that divide people in this country, we are overdue for a health reform that really gives all access to quality health care. This is a step in the right direction. The discussion should focus on how to better it so it reaches its full potential.
