Lesley Téllez iss a freelance writer and culinary guide living in Mexico City.

A Southern California native, Lesley moved to Mexico City in 2009 and eventually founded her own tourism company, Eat Mexico, which offers tours of Mexico City’s tacos, markets and street food. In July 2011 Travel + Leisure magazine named Lesley one of its Top Global Culinary Guides.

As a freelance writer,Lesley’s work has appeared in Food & Wine, The Los Angeles Times, American Way magazine and other publications. She blogs about Mexican food and culture at The Mja Chronicles.
