Jessica Galán-Guzman

 

Jessica Galán-Guzman is a high school social studies teacher in Norwalk, CT. She teaches ESL and Bilingual students that come from a variety of countries. She advocates for equitable academic opportunities for her ESL (English as a Second Language Students). She is currently researching the history of Connecticut Puerto Ricans. Her goal is to compile images and testimonies of the sacrifices and pioneering efforts of the Puerto Rican community in the cities of Bridgeport, Hartford, and New Haven, Connecticut.  She resides with her family in Fairfield, CT.
