Technology and social media have done wonders to free many workers from the confines of office cubicles, allowing us to work from home, from coffee shops, or during a long commute. Unfortunately, all of this freedom comes with a down side—our jobs can also follow us anywhere in the world, making it harder and harder to go completely offline and enjoy the serenity of a family vacation at the beach for seven uninterrupted days.
