Girls Night Out? Make it a Sex Toy Party!

Girls Night Out? Make it a Sex Toy Party!Remember the Tupperware parties our mothers used to attend? How about those cosmetic, clothing, or jewelry parties you’re always being invited to? I can tell you about another type of party that can be all the more fun and have a far better outcome than any I just mentioned—a sex toy party.

Years ago, I hosted a bachelorette party for one of my friends. We all had a blast and we sent my friend off to her new life as a bride with powerful ammunition. A sex toy party is for adult women only—no kids—just the girls getting together to laugh.

Besides offering great ideas on how to spice-up your sex life, most importantly, sex toy parties are informational.

So what exactly happens at one of these events? “A sex toy party is for women who want to celebrate their sexuality,” says Miriam Ayala, a sex toy party consultant. “The girls are very interested in seeing the toys, playing with them, and learning how they are used. All women are interested in improving their sex life. These parties help them let loose and realize it’s normal to want to have better sex or a better masturbatory experience.”

Sex toy parties usually involve games and sex toy sampling with the option of purchasing the products the representative has brought. There are many sex toy companies in the U.S. Companies such as Slumber Parties and Intimate Details, to name a few, are among the companies that provide consultants. These representatives not only supply information on the materials and prices of the toys, they can also instruct on how to use them. Moreover, women often ask sex toy party consultants for sexual advice.

One of the things that make sex toy parties so special is that, besides being a time for girlfriends get together to giggle, it’s also a time in which women realize they are all equals—everyone wants to enjoy sex. During sex toy parties, women come out of their shells and dare to express their innermost thoughts and feelings regarding sex and their longing to have a more fulfilling sex life.

According to Dr. Laura Berman, sex therapist, “a vibrator is a health accessory for the modern woman” and you can see a wide variety of them at a sex toy party. There are many benefits to using vibrators and other sex toys, such as to increase pleasure, sexual desire, and enhance orgasms. A sex toy party can offer you several options to choose from.

Here are some benefits of sex toy parties:

  • Privacy: Sex toy parties are private and intimate. Usually, you mingle with like-minded women who are after the same thing.
  • Fun: Sex toy parties are a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore new possibilities for enhancing your sex life.
  • Less Intimidating: Sex toy parties can be less intimidating than going to a sex store in which you feel self-conscious, afraid to ask, or fear running into someone you know (although, if you do, they are at the store for the same reason as you!)
  • Hands-On: As opposed to shopping for sex toys on the Internet, sex toy parties allow you to manipulate the products and even try some of them on.
  • Freebies: Not only does the hostess receive free “stuff” for hosting (and based on the sales of the party), the guests also enjoy free samples to try at home.

The next time you’re planning a girls-night-out or a bachelorette party, consider inquiring about a sex toy event. I can guarantee the memories and the joy will last well after the party is over.

    Great article! Good fun!
We just hosted a sex toy party and have a question.
Is it safe to put the used toys in the dishwasher afterwards?
They came out sparkling but my friend, who has herpes, said that it might not kill all the viruses.
    Thoughts?

  2. My advice is always to read the manufacturer’s specifications on each product. How is safe to put a toy in the dishwasher and if and how long organisms such as the Herpes virus can live in the toy depend on the material. Always follow manufacturer’s instructions on handling the toy and cleaning it. If you have lost the instructions, go to the toy’s manufacturer’s website or visit your nearest sex toy store. Be safe and enjoy!
