Happy Twitter Follow Friday to all, which I prefer to call Fabulous Friday!
It’s been an exciting week at Mamiverse, but from what we’ve been reading on other websites, great things are happening for them too!
Someone else’s exciting news empowers us to believe that – whatever it is we set our mind to – we can do. It takes time, effort, perseverance, and as one of our contributors is fond of saying, “Team work makes the dream work.”
So, here is a summary of tidbits, articles and posts in the online Latina community that caught our eye this week:
- Our friends over at Latina Bloggers Connect are collaborating with State Farm to promote the Enrique Iglesias and JLo concert sweepstakes. Follow their hasthag #enriquejlotour on Twitter to be in the loop.
- Mamas Latinas has a great article about how to go on vacation on a budget. What mami doesn’t want to save money and have a good time this summer?
- Latinamombloggers interviewed blogger Sili Recio of Mymamihood.com. Our favorite quote by Recio: “I don’t give up. I get up every day and do all I can. I also allow myself those days when there’s just too much going on and I need a break but then I dust myself off and get back in the game.” I feel the same way!
- Blogsbylatinas´ latest additions to their directory include Beauty by Cat with useful makeup tips to look beautiful at all times. I believe that putting your best face forward enhances self-esteem.
