Dancing Could Improve Your Sex Life

Dancing Could Improve Your Sex LifeGeorge Bernard Shaw said that dance is “the vertical expression of a horizontal desire legalized by music.” Darwin proposed that dance was part of the mate selection process. Some research has suggested that there is a relationship between dance and the mating habits of humans. So, it’s plausible that dancing may improve your sex life in more than one way.

Brown and colleagues conducted a study to observe the relationship between physical symmetry and perceive dance quality in men and women. The authors concluded that the way humans dance may be influenced by hormonal and genetic factors which we use to promote ourselves to potential mates. Dr. Lovatt conducted a study in a nightclub at the University of Hertfordshire in which he and his team recorded people dancing. The authors concluded that social freestyle dance is used by individuals as part of the sexual selection process.
