Child Thrown from SUV

Miraculously, this 18-month-old child survived being thrown from an SUV that rolled during a high-speed chase with police in Lubbock, Texas. After being ejected, the child runs after the vehicle and a woman—the child’s mother, according to police—runs and scoops up the child, who remarkably was treated only for scrapes and bruises, according to TV news reports. The toddler girl’s father also was in the vehicle, according to police. The people in the vehicle were suspects in a robbery, resulting in the chase, which was caught on the police car’s dash cam. All four people, three of whom are juveniles, were charged with aggravated robbery, injury to a child, unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest and organized crime, according to Fox 34 News.
