Carmen Wong Ulrich

 

 

Carmen Wong Ulrich is a personal finance expert and former host of CNBC’s daily personal finance show, On the Money. She is currently a contributor to The Dr. Oz Show and iVillage. Carmen is also Glamour magazine’s money expert and can be seen regularly on NBC’s The Today Show, MSNBC, and CNN. She has enjoyed also being a regular guest on ABC’s The View, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, as well as HLN, The Rachel Ray Show, and the CBS Early Show.

In addition, Carmen has been a weeklong expert lifeline on the nationally syndicated game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. As a former editor at Money magazine, Carmen writes for Parade magazine and has been the financial advice columnist for Latina magazine, EssenceMen’s Health magazine and MensHealth.com. Her advice has been highlighted in U.S. News & World Report, The Washington Post, Elle, Self, Redbook, Yahoo! Finance and dozens of other print outlets, websites and radio shows.

The author of The Under-40 Guide to Personal Finance, Carmen’s second book, The Real Cost of Living: Making the Best Decisions for You, Your Life and Your Money was released by Perigee/Penguin in December 2010.

Carmen has a master’s degree in psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College, a B.A. from Fairfield University and lives with her family in Brooklyn.
