Editor’s Note: We’re celebrating 30 Days of Beauty to help you get ready for all of those holiday parties. Prizes or discounts will be awarded randomly, so you won’t want to miss a day!
As if we need another reason to love Bobbi Brown here are four:
1. Si, es verdad. Miz Brown understands the world she lives in and has launched Bobbi Brown En Español, a sister site to her English-language one. ¡Fabuloso!
2. Limited Edition Dual Ended Eye Liner in Chocolate & Bronze ($24). This is one of the best pencil-crayons I’ve ever worked with. The heavily pigmented colors apply evenly and smoothly, and are seriously long-wearing, like Bobbi’s unparalleled Long-Wear Gel Eyeliners. If you’re nervous about rocking metallic liner for day—and we’re going to get you over that—this is the one you want to start with. Use the creamy Chocolate end for lining upper lids, and the subtle Bronze for the inner corners, under the bottom eyelashes, or even, as I like to do, lining the upper and lower inner rims. It looks fresh and unexpected but subtle.
3. Limited Edition Dual Ended Eye Liner in Jet & Chrome ($24). This is a classic deep black-and-intensely metallic silver combo. Use it as suggested above, and remember to smudge it slightly with an eyeliner brush and do it fast; once these colors set, they’re set for the duration. These two colors work with anything—a denim jacket, a tuxedo suit, your LBD. Looks especially amazing if you’re also rocking glittery silvery rhinestoney accessories with it. Must-have.
4. Limited Edition Dual Ended Eye Liner in Caviar and Gold ($24). Last but not least, here’s how to have your caviar and wear it, too. I love the effortlessness of this glam duo, which, like its fab sisters, comes with its own sharpener, to boot. What’s richer than gold? What’s prettier than mixing it with a smoky black-grey? Nothing and nothing. This is The Perfect Eyeliner for holiday parties, to be sure, but will also see you through to spring, where the metallic trend is going strong, and beyond.
