Alix CaDavid

Alix is the founder and Director of the HD Community Building Project, a grassroots organization that offers personal and professional development seminars, as well as advocacy for labor unions and immigrant’s rights.  She has a MA in Social Psychology and Nonprofit Leadership as well as a BS in Political Social Work.

Alix is a board member of the Texas Rural Leadership Program and the chair of their curriculum committee. She is also involved with the Hispanic Health Coalition and the Alliance to Support Hispanic Immigrants.  Alix has developed training modules in the areas of family development, leadership, and emotional intelligence.  She is an avid writer of poetry and short stories.
