Which came first, the chicken or the BeautyBlender? If you had a choice, you’d go with the latter. The egg-shaped hot-pink sponge is latex-free, odorless, non-allergenic, and my go-to tool for applying flawless foundation, brushing off stray eyeshadow, and concealing whatever I don’t want you to see on my otherwise adorable little face.
BeautyBlender’s latest holiday iteration is called Pure ($49.95), which is the sponge minus the color. I want this one, too. In fact, I want 50 of them so I can decorate my beauty tree accordingly.
The new kit comes with the washable sponge; a cute silver mesh bag known as the Air.port, which lets the sponge breathe, stay clean, and travel, adorned with a tiny hot-pink egg charm and a magnetic closure; and Solid, a portable, lavender-scented cleaner I also love using on my makeup brushes. Don’t leave home without it.
